Saw Wayne this afternoon. He really thinks my problem is due to tight hamstrings. Of course, there's no time for me to get my "hammies" stretched sufficiently before the marathon. But, he thinks I can get more aggressive with my stretching and see an improvement.
He also wants me to take it easy this week--no running today, do my XT on Wednesday and a 30 minute jog on Thursday. Then, I'm to run with the group on Saturday and see how the knee feels. If it's still hurting after that, then we'll probably set me up to see the doctor. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. :-)

Cindy, I'm telling you----YOGA helped me tremendously on Sunday. Try going Wednesday and you can get some great stretching in---I can't remember if you came in the beginning, but if not, she teaches stretches that you can even do while your watching tv. I highly recommend it!
I love the yoga class as well. Heather runs and focuses on the parts that a runner hurts. Good luck to you!
Ditto on the yoga. If you tell Heather at the beginning of the class what's bothering you, I guarantee she'll have a stretch for it & it'll hurt like the dickens, too. But you'll be so much stronger. I credit her & Wayne for helping with my ITB issues.
